RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, APPROVINGA WATER PURCHASE CONTRACT WITH
THE CITY OF IOWA PARK, FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE
MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN
TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BYLAW
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls and the City of Iowa Park have agreed to
supply the City of Electra with treated water, and
WHEREAS, the City of Iowa Park requests to increase their amount of treated
water delivered for the City of Iowa Park and Wichita Valley Water Supply Corporation',
and
WHEREAS, the Council examined the proposed Water Purchase Contract
between the City and the City of Iowa Park.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT
SE CTION 1 . The Water Purchase Contract between the City of Wichita Falls
and the City of Iowa Park is hereby approved, and the City Manager is authorized to
execute the same for the City of Wichita Falls.
SECTION 2 . It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
