RESOLUTION TO AWARD BID AND CONTRACT
FOR THE UPPER WET WELL REHABILITATION
PROJECT (CWF04- 550.17); FINDING AND
DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH
THIS RESOLUTUION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO
THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wchila Falls has advertised for bids for the construction
at the Upper Wet Well Rehabilitation Project (CWFM- 550 -17L and
WHEREAS, r is found that the lowest responsible bidder is Bowles Construction
Co., who made a unit price bid with an estimated total base bid of $368,225.00: and
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TE %AS, THAT
SECTION 1. Said unit price bid of Bowles Construction Co., with an estimated
total base bid of $388,225.00 is hereby accepted and approved, and the City Manager
is authorized to execute a contract for the City with said Contractor for the construction
of such project.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution Was passed was open to the public as required by law.
