RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF TWO (2) 60,000
GVW CAB & CHASSIS FROM BRUCKNER'S TRUCK SALES, IN THE
AMOUNT OF $180,974.00. FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE
MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN
TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls advertised and requested bids for the
purchase of two (2) 60,000 GVW cab & chassis, and
WHEREAS, bids were received and publicly opened on February 24, 2005', and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to purchase two (2) 60,000 GVW cab &
chassis for mounting front load sanitation bodies.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT
S ECTION 1 . Authorization is granted to award the bid for the purchase of two (2)
60,000 GVW cab & chassis to Bruckner's Truck Sales, In the amount of $180,974 00.
SECTION 2 . It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
