RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS,
TEXAS, AUTHORIZING AWARD OF BID FOR THE PURCHASE OF A FRONT
END LOADER WITH HYDRAULIC HAMMER FROM CASE EQUIPMENT IN
THE AMOUNT OF $71,802.00. FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE
MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE
PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls advertised and requested bids for the
purchase of a front end loader with hydraulic hammer; and
WHEREAS, bids were received and publicly opened on August 12, 2004; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to purchase a front end loader with
hydraulic hammer for the Water Distribution Department and has the option to purchase
a front end loader without the hydraulic hammer for the Cemetery.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT
SE CTION 1 . Authorization is granted to award bid for the purchase of a front -
end loader with hydraulic hammer tD Case Equipment Company in the amount of
$71,802.00.
SE CTION 2. Authorization is giranted, pending approval of the 2004 -05 budget,
for the purchase of a front -end loader to Case Equipment Company in the amount of
$58,273.
SE CTION 3 . It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
