RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, CONFIRMING THE APPOINTMENT OF A FIRE CHIEF
FOR THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS', FINDING AND DETERMINING
THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED
WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, in accordance with the provisions of §143.013 of the TEx s LOCAL
GOVERNMENT CODE, City Manager Jim Benzine has appointed Earl Foster as the Fire
Chief forthe City of Wichita Falls, and
WHEREAS, said §143.013 provides that this appointment must be confirmed by
the City Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BV THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT
SECTION 1 . The appointment of Earl Foster as Fire Chief for the City of Wichita
Falls, Texas, is hereby confirmed.
SECTION 2. It Is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
