RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, GRANTING THE YMCA OF WICHITA FALLS AN
EXTENSION TO THE LICENSE GRANTED TO THEM ON APRIL 6, 2004
FOR EXTENDED RESERVATION PRIVILEGE OF THE FOUR
BASEBALL FIELDS IN UNIVERSITY KIWANIS PARK FOR A FALL
YOUTH BASEBALL LEAGUE THROUGH OCTOBER 2004; FINDING
AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS
RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS
REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the YMCA of Wichita Falls has requested permission to offer a Fall
youth baseball league on the four baseball fields in University Kiwanis Park; and
WHEREAS, the YMCA desires an extension of the license granted to them April
6, 2004 allowing extended reservation privilege; and
WHEREAS, no problems are foreseen with the conduct of a Fall youth baseball
league on these fields.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1 . An extension is hereby approved to the license granted to the
YMCA on April 6, 2004, for extended reservation privilege of the four baseball fields in
University Kiwanis Park for a Fall youth baseball league through October 2004.
SECTION 2 . It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
