RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, TO ACCEPT THE POLICE DEPARTMENT PARKING
LOT PROJECT (CWF 03- 100 -05) AND AUTHORIZE FINAL PAYMENT
TO B.W. STRAYHORN COMPANY; FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT
THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS
OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls entered a unit price contract with B.W.
Strayhorni Company with the estimated total cost of $58,710.76; and
WHEREAS, the actual work was completed at a total cost of $63,742.92 of which
$57,368.63 has been previously paid to the contractor, leaving an amount due of
$6,374.29; and
WHEREAS, the City staff has inspected the work and found it to be acceptable.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT
SE CTION 1 . The Police Department Parking Lot Project is hereby accepted,
and the City Manager is authorized to make final payment to the contractor.
SE CTION 2 . It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
