RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING AWARD OF BID FOR THE LEASE OF
GOLF CARTS AND UTILITY CARTS TO CLUB CAR, INC. IN THE
AMOUNT OF $40,642.20 ANNUALLY., FINDING AND DETERMINING
THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED
WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls advertised and requested bids for the lease
of golf carts and utility carts for the Weeks Park Golf Course; and
WHEREAS, bids were received and publicly opened on April 13, 2005; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to lease golf carts and utility carts for the
Weeks Parks Golf Course.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT
SECTION 1 . Authorization is granted to award a bid for a 48 month
lease /purchase of al live (65) golf carts and two (2) utility carts to Club Car, Inc., In
the amount of 340,642.20 annually, with the option to purchase at the end of the term
for a balloon payment of $66,300.00.
SECTION 2 . It Is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
