RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF TWO (2) EACH Y,
TON EXTENDED CAB PICKUPS FROM FOUR STARS MOTORS IN
THE AMOUNT OF $34,000.00 FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE
MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN
TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls advertised and requested bids for the
purchase of two (2) Yz -ton extended cab pickups; and
WHEREAS, bids were received and publicly opened on July 26,2004, and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to purchase two (2) '/, -ton extended cab
pickups for the North Texas Regional Drug Enforcement Task Force.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SE CTION 1 . Authorization is granted to award the bid for the purchase of two (2)
'/z -ton extended cab pickups to the low bidder Four Stars Motors of Henrietta, Texas in
the amount of $34,000.00.
SEC 2 . It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
