RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF TWO (2) 5 -YARD
DUMP TRUCKS FROM WICHITA FALLS FREIGHTLINER, IN THE
AMOUNT OF $111,650.00 FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE
MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN
TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls advertised and requested bids for the
purchase of two (2) 5 -yard dump trucks; and
WHEREAS, bids were received and publicly opened on May 2, 2005' and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to purchase two (2) 5 -yard dump trucks for
the City fleet.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. Authorization is granted to award the bid for the purchase of two (2)
5 -yard dump trucks to Wichita Falls Freightliner, In the amount of $111,650.00.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required bylaw.
