RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, CREATING A CITIZENS ADVISORY COMMITTEE FOR
TAX INCREMENT FINANCING REINVESTMENT ZONE #2; FINDING
AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS
RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS
REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City Council is interested in the long -term economic
development of the community and the development of public infrastructure; and
WHEREAS, the City Council is considering the creation of a Tax Increment
Financing Reinvestment Zane #2.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT
SECTION 1 . There shall be created a Citizens Advisory Committee for a Tax
Increment Financing Reinvestment Zone #2, as provided by Chapter 311 of the Tess
TAX CODE.
SECTION 2 . Such Committee shall consist of the following three members:
_ RO, Fil,, Ann Bishop and
SECTION 3. Such Committee shall assist the City Council in the preparation of a
preliminary Reinvestment Zone Plan.
SECTION 4 It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
