RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING AWARD OF BID FOR THE CITY'S
ESTIMATED ANNUAL REQUIREMENT OF WATER METER BOXES
AND LIDS TO POWERSEAL PIPELINE PRODUCTS IN THE AMOUNT
OF $61,975.00.; FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT
WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE
PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls advertised and requested bids for the
purchase of the City's estimated annual requirement of water meter boxes and lids; and
WHEREAS, bids were received and publicly opened on May 9, 2005; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to purchase water meter boxes and lids for
the City's Water Distribution Department.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1 . Authorization is granted to award the bid for the purchase of water
meter boxes and lids to Powerseal Pipeline Products, in the amount of $61,975.00.
SECTION 2 . It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
