RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, ACCEPTING THE 2004 ALLEY REHABILITATION
PROJECT CWF04- 530 -15 AND AUTHORIZING FINAL PAYMENT TO
DUKE CONSTRUCTION COMPANY; FINDING AND DETERMINING
THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED
WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS RI- QUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls entered a unit price contract with Duke
Construction Company, with the estimated total cost of $406,935.00; and
WHEREAS, the actual work was completed at a total cost of $418,682.07, of
which $397,747.97 has been previously paid to the contractor, leaving an amount due
of $20,934.10; and
WHEREAS, the City staff has inspected the work and Hound it to be acceptable.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SEC 1 . The 2004 Alley Rehabilitation Project CWF04- 530 -15 is hereby
accepted, and the City Manager is authorized to make final payment to the contractor.
SEC 2 . It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
