RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO SIGN A
CONTRACT WITH INTERGRAPH PUBLIC SAFETY FOR THE
INSTALLATION AND MAINTENANCE OF A COMPUTER AIDED
DISPATCH AND RECORDS MANAGEMENT SYSTEM, FINDING AND
DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION
WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the current Computer Aided Dispatch and Records Management
System requires replacement, and
WHEREAS, city staff has conducted a competitive procurement process for the
installation and maintenance of a new Computer Aided Dispatch and Records
Management System, and
WHEREAS, a contract for the installation and maintenance of the proposed
system has been negotiated and is recommended by the project team of city staff, the
city's consultant and the 4B Board of Directors.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SE CTION 1 . The City Manager of the City of Wichita Falls is hereby authorized
to sign a contract for the installation and maintenance of a two -way radio system with
Intergraph Public Safety.
SECTION 2 . It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
