RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING AWARD OF BID TO DAVIS
CONSTRUCTION IN THE AMOUNT OF $24,084.00; AND MOTE, INC. IN
THE AMOUNT OF $20,066.00; FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT
THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS
OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls advertised and requested bids for the
demolition of ten (10) hazardous structures; and
WHEREAS, bids were received and publicly opened on July 27, 2004; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to have the hazardous structures
demolished.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT
SECTION 1 . Award is hereby made to Davis Construction for one (1) property in
the amount of $24,084.00, and Mote, Inc. for eight (8) properties in the amount of
$20,066.00.
SECTION 2 . It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
