Resolution awarding Service Agreement to NewEdge Services, Inc
for the implementation of Cityworks Work Order System for Water
Distribution Division and integrate with the new Munis Billing
Software in the amount of $68,500.00
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls desires to make improvements to the Work
Order systems utilized within the Public Works Department based on the success of the
Work Order system with the Wastewater Collections Division ; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls desires to be able to more efficiently
compile data from its Work Orders within Water Distribution as they relate to regulatory
compliance; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls desires to integrate the new Work Order
system with existing software systems within other Departments and Divisions.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The implementation of the CityWorks Work Order system within the Water
Distribution Division, be awarded to NewEdge Services, Inc. in the amount of
$68,500.00, and the City Manager is authorized to execute a contract for the City and
said Integration firm for the performance of such work.
