Resolution awarding the purchase of an ICS-5000 Ion
Chromatograph from Thermo Electron North America LLC, A Best
Value, in the amount of $78,643.45
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls requested quotes from applicable vendors
for the replacement of an existing Ion Chromatograph at Water Purification; and ,
WHEREAS, quotes were received and the best value for the City determined;
and,
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to purchase a replacement Ion
Chromatograph for the City’s Water Purification Laboratory.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Authorization is granted to award the best value purchase of an Ion
Chromatograph to Thermo Electron North America in the amount of $78,643.45 and the
City Manager is authorized to execute a contract for such purchase.
