Ordinance Rezoning Lots 12 Through 16 Of Block 11, Homewood
Heights And Adjacent Right -Of -Way From Single Family -2 And
Multifamily Residential To General Commercial And Amending The
Land Use Plan To Show The Area As Commercial
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission considered the proposed
zoning change at their September 14, 2011 meeting and voted unanimously to
recommend approval of this request; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed this request and has determined that
the herein described Zoning and Land Use Plan amendments are in the public interest.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
1. Approximately 0.6 acres of land consisting of Lots 12, 13, 14, 15, and 16,
Block 11, Homewood Heights and the adjacent street right -of -way as shown on the
attached map incorporated in this ordinance as Attachment "A," are hereby zoned
General Commercial
2. The City of Wichita Falls Land Use Plan Map is hereby amended to change
the aforementioned area from Low Density Residential to Commercial.
