Resolution Authorizing The City Manager To Execute Contracts With
Selected Community Service Organizations And With Other
Organizations That Promote The Convention And Tourism Industry
for FY 2011 -2012, in a total amount of approximately $391,272
WHEREAS, the FY 2011 -12 Adopted Budget includes funds for several
community service organizations and organizations that promote the convention and
tourism industry; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the organizations funded by the hotel
occupancy tax (designated below by Hotel /Motel Fund) promote the convention and
hotel industry.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The City Manager is authorized to execute contracts with the following
organizations that provide community services and /or promote the convention and
tourism industry, in forms to be approved by the City Attorney, in the amounts specified
below:
