Texas, Authorizing The City Manager To Execute All Docurr
Necessary To Accept A Public Health Emergency Response C
From The Department Of State Health Services For F
Influenza Response And Appropriating $246,016 To The Special
Revenue Fund For Said Grant.
WHEREAS, the Wichita Falls-Wichita County Public Health District has received
an award from the Department of State Health Services for H1 N1 Influenza response;
and
WHEREAS, the Wichita Falls — Wichita County Public Health District and the
Department of State Health Services desire to enter into a contract to address gaps in
local capabilities for mass vaccination and provide vaccination for H1N1 influenza; and
WHEREAS, approval of these funds could not have been anticipated prior to the
adoption of the FY 2009-2010 budget.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The City Manager is authorized to execute all documents necessary to accept a
Public Health Emergency Response Grant from the Department of State Health
Services for H1N1 influenza response, and $246,016 is appropriated to the Special
Revenue Fund for said grant.
