Resolution No. _95-2016_
Resolution authorizing the purchase of an Automated Measuring
System from The Ford Meter Box Company Inc for water meter
testing in the amount of $70,702.13
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls desires to provide its citizens with water
accounting and billing that is accurate; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls desires to be able to test magnetic
technology meters that are capable of new, lower flow rates than previous positive
displacement meters were capable of measuring; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls desires to replace its existing water meter
testing equipment with a new water test bench that is capable of testing at the lower
flow rates of its new magnetic technology meters.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Authorization is granted to purchase an Automated Measuring System from The
Ford Meter Box Company Inc for water meter testing in the amount of $70,702.13.
