Ordinance Accepting Grant Funds Received From The Texas State
Library And Archives Commission (Loan Star Libraries Program) In
The Amount Of $20,780, Appropriating the Funds From A Special
Revenue Fund, And Authorizing The City Manager To Execute The
Grant Contract
WHEREAS, the City has been notified that it has been awarded $20,780 from
the Texas State Library and Archives Commission for its Lone Star Libraries Program
and,
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to accept these funds and appropriate them
to the financial records of the City; and
WHEREAS, the use of these funds will be for computer replacements; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute the accompanying
grant agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Funds in the amount of $20,780 that have been awarded to the City from the
Texas State Library and Archives Commission for the Lone Star Libraries Program are
hereby accepted, and funds received therefrom shall be deposited into the special
revenue fund Lone Star Libraries Program 1181 and are appropriated for expenditures
of the program. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute the grant contract
and all other documents necessary to receive and expend said funds.
