RESOLUTION AWARDING A BID TO COMPTERTECH IN THE
AMOUNT OF $68,425.00 FOR THE PURCHASE OF EIGHTY-FIVE
COMPUTER WORKSTATIONS; FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT
THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS
OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City's 2008-09 budget includes funds to replace several
computers that are in excess of five years old and are no longer adequate to run the
City's standard operating systems and applications; and
WHEREAS, bids were received from various State DIR Vendors for the
purchase of these computers; and
WHEREAS, ComputerTech submitted the lowest and most responsible bid for
this purchase.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. Authorization is hereby granted to award a bid to ComputerTech
for the purchase of 85 computer workstations in the amount of $68,425.00
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
