RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS,
AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF ROUTING SYSTEM SOFTWARE FROM
ROUTSMART TECHNOLOGIES, INC., IN THE AMOUT OF $62,500.00; FINDING
AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS
PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls allocated funds for the purchase of routing
software for the Sanitation Department in the FY2007-2008 budget:; and
WHEREAS, the City's Geographic Information System server is now installed
and operational, and
WHEREAS, the City's current GIS provider has recommended RouteSmart
Technologies, Inc., as the "best value" solution to work in conjunction with the existing
system.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. Authorization be granted for the purchase of routing system
software from RouteSmart Technologies, Inc., in the amount of $62,500.00.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
