RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA�
FALLS, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING AWARD OF BID FOR THE PURCHASE
OF A MOTOR GRADER TO ROMCO EQUIPMENT IN THE AMOUNT OF
$148,918.00; FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT
WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE
PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls advertised and requested bids for the
purchase of motor grader; and
WHEREAS, bids were received and publicly opened on February 4, 2009; and
WHEREAS, the City Councit desires to purchase a motor grader for the City's
fleet
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. Authorization is granted to award the bid for the purchase of a
motor grader to Romco Equipment in the amount of $148,918.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
