RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, AWARDING BID AND CONTRACT FOR THE FOURTH
PRESSURE PLANE WATER DISTRIBUTION IMPROVEMENTS
PROJECT (CWF08-544-19); FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE
MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN
TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has advertised for bids for the Fourth
Pressure Plane Water Distribution Improvements Project (CWF08-544-19); and,
WHEREAS, it is found that the lowest responsible bidder is Gin-Spen Inc., who
made a bid with an estimated total of $1,601,280.00, based on lump sum quantities.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. Said unit price bid of Gin-Spen Inc., with an estimated total of
$1,601,280.00, is hereby accepted for the Fourth Pressure Plane Water Distribution
Improvements Project (CWF08-544-19), and the City Manager is authorized to execute
a contract for the City with said Contractor for the construction of such project.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
