RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF EIGHT 1/4-TON
PICKUPS FROM WOLF FORD-DODGE IN THE AMOUNT OF
$94,560.00. FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT
WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE
PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls adopted a fuel conservation policy in
December 2008 which address the purchase of more fuel efficient vehicles, and
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls advertised and requested bids for the
purchase of eight'/4-ton pickups; and

WHEREAS, bids were received and publicly opened on February 10, 2009; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to purchase eight (8) '/4-ton pickups for the
City's vehicle fleet.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. Authorization is granted to award the bid for the purchase of eight
(8) '/4-ton pickups to Wolf Ford-Dodge in the amount of $94,560.00.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
