RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A
SUPPLEMENTAL WORK ORDER TO THE AGREEMENT WITH URS
CORPORATION FOR CONSTRUCTION QUALITY ACCEPTANCE
TESTING AND RESIDENT PROJECT REPRESENTATIVE (RPR)
SERVICES IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE A-4 CONNECTOR, TAXIWAY
"A" LIGHTING AND SECURITY FENCING PROJECTS AT KICKAPOO
DOWNTOWN AIRPORT; FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE
MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN
TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has awarded contracts for the A-4
Connector, Taxiway "A" lighting and security fencing projects at Kickapoo Downtown
Airport; and
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls requires additional construction Quality
Acceptance Testing and Resident Project Representative (RPR) services in conjunction
with the above referenced projects; and
WHEREAS, Federal Aviation Administration will fund 95% of cost of these
services and sufficient Airport money is available to fund the additional 5% of the
service agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute the attached
supplement work order with URS Corporation for additional construction Quality
Acceptance Testing and Resident Project Representative (RPR) services in conjunction
with the A-4 Connector, Taxiway "A" lighting and security fencing projects at Kickapoo
Downtown Airport in the amount of $24,000.00.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
