RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF ONE '/2-TON
EXTENDED CAB PICKUP TO PATTERSON AUTO CENTER IN THE
AMOUNT OF $20,386.08; FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE
MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN
TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls advertised and requested bids for the
purchase of one'/2-ton extended cab pickup; and -
WHEREAS, bids were received and publicly opened on February 10, 2009; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to purchase one'/2-ton extended cab pickup
for the City's vehicle fleet.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The City Council finds and determines that an award of bid to
Patterson Auto Center, Wichita Falls, Texas offers the City the best combination of price
and additional economic development opportunities for the City, including employment
or residents and increased tax revenue.
SECTION 2. Authorization is granted to award the bid for the purchase of one'/2-
ton extended cab pickup to Patterson Auto Center in the amount of $20,386.08.
SECTION 3. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
