RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, APPROVING A CONTRACT FOR CONSTRUCTION OF
THE WICHITA FALLS POLICE DEPARTMENT FIRING RANGE WITH
ELECTRA CONSTRUCTION COMPANY, INC., IN THE AMOUNT OF
$3,146,833.62; FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT
WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE
PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, previously selected Electra
Construction Company, Inc., to provide Construction Manager at Risk services to
construct the Wichita Falls Police Department Firing Range; and,
WHEREAS, subcontractor proposals have been submitted and publicly opened
for the project; and,
WHEREAS, the value of the construction contract is $3,146,833.62.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1 . A construction contract with Electra Construction Company, Inc., is
hereby awarded in the amount of $3,146,833.62.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
