RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO THE WICHITA
FALLS ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION 2008-2009
BUDGET IN THE AMOUNT OF $1,802 FOR THE REGIONAL
MARKETING TASKFORCE; FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE
MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN
TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the Wichita Falls Economic Development Corporation met on
March 2, 2009, to consider a budget request from the Regional Marketing Taskforce;
and,
WHEREAS, the Wichita Falls Economic Development Corporation approved a
budget request in the amount of $101,802; and,
WHEREAS, as a result of a previous budget amendment in the amount of
$100,000, the total amendment for this budget request totals $1,802.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The Wichita Falls Economic Development Corporation 2008-2009
Budget is hereby amended in the amount of $1,802.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
