Resolution Awarding Bid For The Purchase Of Two Solid Waste
Transfer Trailers To Travis Body & Trailer In The Amount Of
$110,860.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls advertised and requested bids for the
purchase of two solid waste transfer trailers; and
WHEREAS, bids were received and publicly opened on March 9, 2009; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to purchase two solid waster transfer trailers
for the City sanitation fleet.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The bid for the purchase of two solid waste transfer trailers is awarded to Travis
Body & Trailer, Incorporated, in the amount of $110,860, and City Staff are authorized
to execute all documents necessary to purchase said item in accordance with said bid.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 7 day of April, 2009.
