Resolution Adopting An Updated Parks, Recreation, And Open
Space Plan
WHEREAS, the Texas Parks & Wildlife Department requires an updated local
park plan every five years in order to gain additional grant application scoring points;
and,
WHEREAS, the current Parks, Recreation, and Open Space Plan was approved
in 2001 and is in need of approval by TP&W.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The attached updated Parks, Recreation, and Open Space Plan is hereby
adopted.
