Res 078-2009 6/2/2009 I • � . ! �, RESOLUTION NO. 8 o�DO9 Resolution Approving Change Order No. 1 For The Cypress Water Treatment Plant 20" Brine Discharge Pipeline Project (CWF07-544-04) WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls entered a unit price contract with Gin-Spen Inc. for the Cypress Water treatment Plant 20" Brine Discharge Pipeline Project (CWF07-544-04) with the estimated total cost of $1,784,720.00; WHEREAS, Change Order No. 1 will decrease $103,026.10 from the contract for a revised cost of $1,681,693.90; and, WHEREAS, the City staff has reviewed all aspects of this change order and feels that it is in the City's best interest to approve. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT: Change Order No. 1, attached hereto, for the Cypress Water treatment Plant 20" Brine Discharge Pipeline Project (CWF07-544-04) is approved, and the City Manager is authorized to execute all documents necessary to amend this contract in accordance therewith.
