Naye s : lone. R E S O L U T I O N RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR IMPROVEMENT OF A PORTION OF F ILIIORE STREET, AND DIVECTING EXECUTION OF CONTRACT. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF WIC1i ITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT WHEREAS, the City of Qchita Falls, has heretofore ordered that Filmore Street in said city be improved from its intersect- ion with the North Property lane of ,-.venue ''K" to its intersection with the north Property Line of Avenue "L", by raising, grading, filling, in- stalling concrete curbs and butters and paving, with necessary appurte- nances, and thereafter plans and specifications were duly adopted and aylroved for such improvements, bids were adverbs ed for and received and on the 9th day of Pebruary, 1925, such bids were opened, and hHEE AS, the bids received have been fully canvassed and considered and the City Council after fully considering same is of the opinion that the bid of _Mains Paving Company is the most advantage- ous and should be accepted; NOW, THE AFORE , BE IT :ESOLVED BY THE CITY OF TICHIT A FAILS, TEXAS, THAT: I. The City Engineer is hereby directed, in accordance with provisions of Section 108 of the City Charter, to male and file a re- port with the Board of Aldermen showing thereon the estimated cost of the proposed improvements, the proportion thereof to be paid by the City, the proportion thereof to be assessed against the abutting prop- erty -and the owners thereof, the owners of land abut ing thereon and benefitted thereby, a owner thereof, the rate per front foot proposed to be assessed for curb, and the amount to be assessed in each case for curb, the rate per front foot of property proposed to be assessed for improvements other than curb, the total amount proposed to be assessed a ra.inst each lot or parcel of land and the owner thereof, and such report may show other matters of things and shall dhow the estimated amounts of damates, if any, to each piece or parcel of property, and the owner thereof, which will be sustained by reason of said improve- ments. Such report shall in all respects comply with the provisions of the City Charter and with Chapter 11, Title 22, of the Revised Civil Statutes of the State of Texas of 1911, and in all respects com- ply with the resolutions and other proceedings of this Board with reference to the proposed improvement of said portion of said Street. massage.
