Resolution Approving The Fifth Year Of The Five-Year Public
Housing Agency Plan And The Annual Action Plan, Deleting
References To The Family Self Sufficiency Program From Said Plans
And The Housing Choice Voucher Administrative Plan, Also Known
As The Section 8 Rental Assistance Programs, And Authorizing The
City Manager To Execute All Documents Necessary To Incorporate
The Changes Into The Plans And Submit Said Plans To State And
Federal Agencies
WHEREAS, The Wichita Falls City Council must annually approve the Public
Housing Agency (PHA) five-year plan; and staff is recommending all references to the
Family Self Sufficiency grant program be deleted from said plan, the annual action plan,
and the Housing Choice Voucher Administrative Plan, also known as the Section 8
Rental Assistance Programs.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The fifth year of the of the five-year PHA Plan is hereby approved with all
references to the Family Self Sufficiency grant program deleted therefrom. The Annual
Action Plan of said five-year PHA plan is approved for upcoming year in the same form
as adopted and submitted in the previous year, with the exception of the Family Self
Sufficiency Program, which is deleted therefrom. All references to the Family Self
Sufficiency Program are deleted from the Housing Choice Voucher Administrative Plan,
also known as the Section 8 Rental Assistance Programs. The City Manager is
authorized to execute all documents necessary to incorporate the aforementioned
changes into the plans and submit said documents to all appropriate state and federal
agencies.
