RESOLUTION NO. - U
Resolution Approving Change Order No. 1 for the
Harrison/Speedway and 10 Street Reconstruction and Traffic Flow
Improvements Project (CWF08-100-02), which will increase the
contract amount by approximately $66,759.75
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls entered into a unit price contract with Scales
Concrete Construction Company for The Harrison/Speedway and 10 Street
Reconstruction and Traffic Flow Improvements Project (CWF08-100-02) with the
estimated total cost of $1,085,961.00;
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 1 will increase $66,759.75 to the contract for a
revised cost of $1,152,720.75; and,
WHEREAS, the City staff has reviewed all aspects of this change order and feel
that it is in the City's best interest to approve.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Change Order No. 1, attached hereto, for the Harrison/Speedway and 10
Street Reconstruction and Traffic Flow Improvements Project (CWF08-100-02) is
approved, and the City Manager is authorized to execute all documents necessary to
amend this contract in accordance therewith.
