Resolution No. _77-2016__
Resolution to approve Change Order No. 1 for the SAFB Perimeter
Security and Transportation Project for an additional amount of
$40,000
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls entered into a contract for $250,464 with
Mote’s Wholesale INC for the abatement and demolition of 2 commercial buildings and
a motel complex; and,
WHEREAS, additional asbestos was discovered encapsulated in the concrete
block walls of the motel; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to have the commercial properties and the
motel complex abated and demolished in a timely manner and finds that Change Order
No. 1 in the amount of $40,000 dollars is reasonable.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The City Manager is authorized to execute Change Order No. 1 for the SAFB Perimeter
Security and Transportation Project in the amount of $40,000.
