Res 095-2009 7/21/2009 S A RESOLUTION NO. qS a�� Resolution Approving The FY 2010 Action Plan Of The 2005-2009 Consolidated Plan Of The City Of Wichita Falls To Allocate FY 2010 HOME Investment Partnership Program (HOME) Funds In The Amount Of $555,120 and FY 2010 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Funds In The Amount Of $1,400,527, And Re-allocate $300,000 In FY 2009 CDBG Funds WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls ("City"), acting in its capacity as a Housing and Urban Development ("HUD") Grantee, administers federally-funded programs to benefit the community; WHEREAS, the City has held two public hearings to receive citizen input; WHEREAS, the City Council Subcommittee on Outside Agencies has met with and considered requests from local non-profit organizations and City departments who have applied for funding; and WHEREAS, during the Public Hearing, the full City Council has considered citizen comments and has reviewed the proposed use of funds. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT: 1. The City hereby approves and adopts the FY 2010 Annual Action Plan of the FY 2010 Consolidated Plan (as compiled from the attached Expenditures) that will provide for developing, implementing, and administering eligible programs and activities through the CDBG and HOME Programs, 2. The City, acting in its capacity as a HUD Grantee, is authorized to apply for $1,400,527 in FY 2010 CDBG funding and $555,120 in FY 2010 HOME funding and apply for Reallocation of $300,000 in FY 2009 CDBG funding. Such funding shall be utilized for eligible projects and administrative costs. The City Council authorizes the City Manager to execute any and all amendments, agreements, and other documents necessary to imptement the aforementioned Action Plan.
