Resolution Authorizing The City Manager To Execute All Documents
Necessary To Accept An Unconditional Deed Transferring Lots 1
Through 7 Of Block F Of The R.E. Montgomery Second Subdivision,
With Sculptures Affixed Thereto, From Wichita Falls Streams And
Valleys, Inc.
WHEREAS, Wichita Falls Streams and Valleys, Inc. has requested the City
accept the land containing its Wee-Chi-Tah bronze sculpture and surrounding property,
and
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has considered the proposal of Wichita Falls
Streams and Valleys, Inc., and is willing to accept a deed to the property containing the
aforementioned sculpture, as long as the gift is unconditional, so that it may be
managed and maintained by the City in a manner best suited to cost-effectively
preserve and display the sculpture.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The City Manager is authorized to execute all documents necessary to accept an
unconditional deed transferring Lots 1 through 7 of Block F of the R.E. Montgomery
Second Subdivision, with sculptures affixed thereto, from Wichita Falls Streams and
Valleys, Inc.
