Resolution Awarding A Bid For The Cypress Water Treatment Plant
2010 10 MGD Conventional Treatment Plant Project, (CWF07-544-06)
To Archer Western Contractors In An Estimated Total Amount Of
$42,686,000
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has advertised for bids for the Cypress
Water Treatment Plant 2010 10MGD Conventional Treatment Plant Project (CWF07-
544-06); and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the lowest responsible bidder is Archer
Western Contractors, which made a unit lump sum price bid with an estimated total of
$42,686,000.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The bid for the Cypress Water Treatment Plant 2010 10 MGD Conventional
Treatment Plant Project, (CWF07-544-06) is awarded to Archer Western Contractors in
an estimated total amount of $42,686,000, and the City Manager is authorized to
execute a contract with said Contractor for the construction of such project in
accordance with the bid specifications.
