Resolution Authorizing The City Manager To Execute All Documents
Necessary To Purchase A John Deere Model 6230 Tractor In The
Amount Of $31,250.78 And A 16' Tiger Flail Mower In The Amount Of
$48,490.84, Through The Buyboard Cooperative Purchasing Program
WHEREAS, local governments are authorized by Chapter 791 of the Texas
Government Code, the Interlocal Cooperation Act, to agree with other local
governments to form purchasing cooperatives;
WHEREAS, the Wichita Falls City Council has passed a resolution approving the
participation in such cooperative agreements;
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to purchase a tractor and mower for the City
Parks Maintenance Division; and,
WHEREAS, it is in the City's best interest to purchase through the BuyBoard
Purchasing Cooperative.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The City Council authorizes the City Manager to execute all documents
necessary to purchase a John Deere Model 6230 tractor from John Deere Government
Sales in the amount of $31,250.78, and a 16' Tiger flail mower from Bane Machinery in
the amount of $48,490.84, through the BuyBoard Purchasing Cooperative.
