Resolution Endorsing An Application For Funding From The Wichita
Falls 4B Sales Tax Corporation For The Replacement Of Electronic
Panels For The Outdoor Warning System And The Purchase Of
Replacement Units In The Amount Of $142,000 Per Year For Four
Years
WHEREAS, in 1997, the City of Wichita Falls used 4B funds to upgrade and
update its outdoor warning system, and
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls wants to repair and maintain its outdoor
warning units, and
WHEREAS, the repair and maintenance of outdoor warning siren systems has
been found to be a Section 4B Sales Tax eligible expenditure.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
City Management is authorized to apply for funding from the Wichita Falls 4B
Sales Tax Corporation for the replacement of electronic panels for the outdoor warning
system and the purchase of replacement units in the amount of $142,000 per year for
four years, with adjustments for inflation authorized in said applications.
