Resolution Awarding A Bid To Mythics Inc., In The Amount Of
$124,128.90 For The Purchase Of An Oracle Database 11g
Enterprise Edition And One Year Of Maintenance.
WHEREAS, the City's 2008-09 budget includes funds to replace the
Finance/HR Application Server that is in excess of eight years old and no longer
adequate to run the City's standard server operating systems and applications;
and
WHEREAS, bids were received from various Qualified State Vendors for
the purchase of this equipment; and
WHEREAS, The City Council finds that Mythics Inc., submitted the lowest
responsible bid for this purchase.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
City administration is authorized to accept the bid/proposal of Mythics Inc.,
for the purchase of Oracle Database 11g Enterprise Edition plus one year of
maintenance in the amount of $124,128.90, and the City Manager is authorized
to execute all documents necessary to purchase said item in accordance with the
bid/proposal specifications.
