Resolution Approving The Wichita Falls 4B Sales Tax
Corporation's Amendment Of Its Fiscal Year 2008-2009 Budget
To Conditionally Fund $60,000 Of Renovations To The
Backdoor Theatre
WHEREAS, TExas Loca� Gov'T CODE § 501.073(a) provides "The
corporation's authorizing unit will approve all programs and expenditures of a
corporation and annually review any financial statements of the corporation"; and
WHEREAS, on August 21, 2009, the Wichita Falls 4B Sales Tax
Corporation's Board of Directors approved the funding of a$60,000 request from
the Backdoor Theatre for renovations thereto, contingent upon proof of its receipt
of a matching $90,000 in contributions for said project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The Wichita Falls 4B Sales Tax Corporation's amendment of its Fiscal
Year 2008-2009 Budget to conditionally fund $60,000 of renovations to the
Backdoor Theatre is hereby approved.
