Resolution Authorizing The Purchase Of A Wildcat Trommel Screen
With Air Lift Separator Through The Buy Board Cooperative
Purchasing Program From Vermeer Equipment Of Texas, Inc., In The
Amount Of $235,420.05.
WHEREAS, items purchased through interlocal cooperative purchasing contracts
are exempt from the State's competitive bidding requirements;
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Wichita Falls has passed a resolution
approving the participation in such cooperative agreements; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that Vermeer Equipment of Texas, Inc., is
offering a Wildcat trommel screen with air lift separator through the Buy Board
Cooperative Purchasing Program and it is in the City's best interest to purchase this
trommel screen in accordance with the Buy Board Cooperative Purchasing Program.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
City staff is authorized to execute all documents necessary to purchase a Wildcat
Trommel Screen with Air Lift Separator from Vermeer Equipment of Texas, Inc., in the
amount of $235,420.05 through the BuyBoard Local Government Cooperative
Purchasing Program.
