Resolution Authorizing The Purchase Of A Caterpillar Articulated
Ejector Truck Through The BuyBoard Cooperative Purchasing
Program From Warren Cat, In The Amount Of $429,483.00.
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that this purchase is exempt from the state's
competitive bidding requirements because it is purchased through an interlocal
cooperative purchasing contract;
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Wichita Falls has passed a resolution
approving the participation in such cooperative agreements; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that Warren Cat is offering an articulated
ejector truck through the BuyBoard Cooperative Purchasing Program and it is in the
City's best interest to purchase this articulated ejector truck in accordance with the Buy
Board Cooperative Purchasing Program.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
City staff is authorized to execute all documents necessary to purchase a
Caterpillar Model 740 Articulated Ejector Truck from Warren Cat, in the amount of
$429,483.00, through the BuyBoard Cooperative Purchasing Program.
