Resolution Authorizing City Staff To Execute All Documents
Necessary To Accept American Recovery And Reinvestment Act
Funds In The Amount Of $777,575 From The U.S. Department Of
Energy For The Purchase Of LED Roadway And Park Lighting
Fixtures, With No Local Match Required.
WHEREAS, the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act provides funding for
the purchase of energy efficient LED roadway and park lighting fixtures, and
WHEREAS, the City desires to accept $777,575 of these funds, and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
City Staff are authorized to execute all documents necessary to accept the
maximum amount of American Recovery and Reinvestment Act funds available from
the U.S. Department of Energy for the purpose of purchasing energy efficient LED
roadway and park lighting fixtures, with no local match required.
