Resolution Authorizing The City Manager To Execute A Professional
Services Agreement With Kimley-Horn And Associates For
Engineering Services Related To The Wichita Falls Circle Trail
Extensions, In An Estimated Amount Of $190,000
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls believes that a well designed hike/bike trail
system is important to the quality of life of its citizens; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has identified the completion of a circular
hike/bike trail in its Strategic Plan; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has determined that Kimley-Horn and
Associates is qualified to provide Engineering Services for the hike/bike trail system;
and,
WHEREAS, it is found that the cost of Engineering Services to complete the
design of four miles of hike/bike trail is estimated at $190,000.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The City Manager is authorized to execute a Professional Services Agreement
with Kimley-Horn and Associates for engineering services related to the Wichita Falls
Circle Trail Extensions, in an estimated amount of $190,000, in a form to be approved
by the City Attorney.
