Resolution Awarding Bid For The Purchase Of Eight'/4-Ton Pickups
To Wolfe Ford-Dodge In The Amount Of $93,918.40
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls adopted a fuel conservation policy in
December 2008 which addresses the purchase of more fuel efficient vehicles, and
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls advertised and requested bids for the
purchase of eight'/4-ton pickups; and
WHEREAS, bids were received and publicly opened on November 20, 2009.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The bid for the purchase of eight'/4-ton pickups is awarded to Wolfe Ford-Dodge
in the amount of $93,918.40, and City Staff is authorized to execute all documents
necessary to purchase the aforementioned equipment.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 1 day of December, 2009.
